CalCPA ProtectPlus provides high-quality medical, dental, vision, term life and long-term disability plans exclusively for CalCPA member-owned firms.Firms comprised of 2 or more persons working 20+ hours per week are eligible for guaranteed issue. However, Solo practitioners (one CPA, no employees) are subject to underwriting and may be denied coverage based on their personal health history.

Each plan has been developed through research, member feedback, and collaboration with leading national service providers to deliver an attractive balance of benefits and savings. And because these are proprietary plans, we can provide them to our member firms at highly competitive group rates.


 

Mail Order Rx Service Change Effective July 1, 2010

Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) Offer Free Or Low-Cost Health Coverage To Children And Families

If you are eligible for health coverage from your employer, but are unable to afford the premiums, some States have premium assistance programs that can help pay for coverage.  These States use funds from their Medicaid or CHIP programs to help people who are eligible for employer-sponsored health coverage, but need assistance in paying their health premiums. Printing Temporary ID Cards

Employees of firms newly enrolling in the ProtectPlus program, or changing from one ProtectPlus program to another, who have not yet received their new ID cards can print tempory ID cards online. Click here for instructions.
